Anyone who lives in the greater Eugene area who does not take advantage of the fabulous Saturday (or Tuesday) farmers market is just plain missing out.
So much good food to choose from.
The mushroom guy has fresh morels in spring - there are berries and corn and swiss chard the size of small children - the nantes carrots are so sweet they make you want to cry - huge bunches of fresh basil and cilantro, beets and cabbages, kale and lettuces big enough to make salad for 12 from one head. We are so blessed and so grateful for this phenomenal market. Thanks to all the local farmers - one day I hope to know them ALL.
